With less than a year until the Tokyo Olympics, the British Sailing team are warming up at the Ready Steady Tokyo regatta and we are pleased to see Lomond School alumni on the winners podium.
Dubbed Ready Steady Tokyo, the regatta is a dress rehearsal for the Olympic Games with nations selecting just one entry in each of the ten Olympic sailing classes. Former Pupil, Charlotte Dobson, and her teammate Saskia Tidey kicked off the British medal haul with bronze in the 49erFX. They were followed by FP, Anna Burnet, and teammate John Gimson who claimed silver in the Nacra 17 category. With such promising results in the dress rehearsal, we can’t wait for the real thing!
