Head of Marketing and Communications at Lomond School, Barry McGinness said: “I receive all the notifications from social media on my phone and on Saturday it barely stopped buzzing – I knew the video would be well received but I was taken aback how far around the world it reached. It was incredible to witness the overwhelming response from people near and far in real time. The comments were filled with nostalgic memories and heartfelt messages, with many expressing gratitude for being reminded of home. This unexpected viral moment has not only put a spotlight on talented young Harry but also on the sense of community and pride that music and culture can inspire. The pupils at Lomond School truly make it a remarkable place, and it’s fantastic that this can be recognised globally. Celebrating and showcasing their talents is the best part about my job.
