Our J3 and J4 pupils gave a fantastic performance of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ just before school closed. They brought us adventure, they brought us a giant and they brought us a hero who was small and strong!
One of our young thespians even wrote a report for us which you can read below.
This week J3 and J4 put on a production of Roald Dahl’s Jack and the Beanstalk. Unfortunately, because of a virus we couldn’t perform in front of a crowd, yet the show must go on, and so we filmed it. Our parents will be so proud when they see what we achieved.
We had to bring it forward a week and a half, yet we managed to pull it off. It wasn’t always smooth sailing though. For instance, our star, wo played Jack, couldn’t perform and so my friend stepped in and learned the role overnight! Also, when her hat got stuck in the beanstalk, Amelia saved the day by untangling it. Ms Brown accompanied us brilliantly on the piano and we even had three J4s helping with the percussion. Our singing was outstanding and we raised the roof when we sang our finale and the rest of Clarendon joined in too.
I think, despite all the challenges, we managed to pull off the best J3/J4 Show EVER!
