Lomond School offers Service children a stable and supportive education and home environment in our co-educational boarding house, Burnbrae. Here, children from age 8 (Junior 5) enjoy living in a modern, purpose-built boarding house with access to fantastic facilities and an amazing array of activities and trips.  Our caring staff know every boarder inside out and are committed to ensuring that every child feels stable and happy.  Siblings live together in the same house, which maintains strong family units, even when living away from mums and dads.

From our ‘Sector Leading’ Nursery and Pre-School right through to Senior 6, Lomond School provides a nurturing environment for all our pupils, preparing them for life beyond school. A culture of hard work exists throughout the school and excellent academic achievement is supported by small class sizes, dedicated teaching staff, superb facilities and a significant emphasis on pupil happiness, health and wellbeing.

Lomond School supports the Continuity of Education Allowance Scheme from the Ministry of Defence with a very generous Forces’ Bursary. This means that as parents from the Military you only pay 10% of the school fees yourself, through the financial support you receive as part of the Continuity of Education Allowance. Lomond School covers the remaining amount with a Forces’ Bursary.

We are committed to supporting Forces Families in every way. So, in addition to paying only 10% of the school fees, Forces Families do not have to pay any deposit.
